A Bit About Mandy
Mandy Röscher is a South African-trained physiotherapist who has dedicated her career to helping people overcome complex pelvic health conditions with compassionate, evidence-based care.
As the Director of Brisbane Pelvic Physiotherapy, Mandy works with women, men and children experiencing bladder, bowel, pelvic pain, pregnancy, postpartum and sexual health concerns. She has a particular interest in persistent pelvic pain, anorectal dysfunction, constipation, pelvic floor dysfunction and helping patients who have struggled to find answers elsewhere.
Mandy believes that excellent pelvic physiotherapy is about far more than treating symptoms. Her approach is centred on understanding the why behind every condition—identifying the underlying factors contributing to a person's symptoms and creating an individualised treatment plan that fits their goals, lifestyle and values.
Patients often describe Mandy's consultations as thorough, educational and empowering. She believes that when people understand their body and their condition, they become active participants in their recovery.
Known professionally as the "Curious Clinician," Mandy is passionate about lifelong learning and continually invests in advanced professional development to ensure her patients receive care informed by the latest evidence and best clinical practice.
Alongside her clinical work, Mandy is an internationally recognised pelvic health educator and the founder of the Pelvic Health Training Academy, where she teaches physiotherapists across Australia and internationally. She has developed numerous online and face-to-face courses covering female pelvic health, male pelvic health, anorectal dysfunction, communication skills, trauma-informed care and persistent pelvic pain. Thousands of healthcare professionals have completed her educational programs.
Before moving to Australia in 2021 with her husband and two children, Mandy spent over a decade working in private practice in South Africa. Her passion for teaching, combined with extensive clinical experience, allows her to bridge the gap between research and real-world patient care.
Whether she is teaching fellow clinicians or working one-on-one with patients, Mandy's mission remains the same:
To provide compassionate, evidence-based pelvic healthcare that empowers people to understand their bodies, regain confidence and improve their quality of life.
